GENERAL INFORMATION Malcolm has been active in university research since 1968 and in audio related research since 1976. He is currently the Director of the Centre for Audio Research and Engineering and Director of Postgraduate Studies within the Department of Electronic Systems Engineering at Essex University where he was appointed to his current position of Professor in October 1994 having previously held the positions of Reader, Senior Lecturer and Lecturer within the same Institute. |
Malcolm is a Fellow of the Audio Engineering Society, the Institution of Electrical Engineers and the Institute of Acoustics. He has published numerous technical papers and audio articles and has supervised a significant number of research students. |
