Sources of Funding

 

Santander Masters Scholarships

Scholarships funded by the Santander Group, are available for taught postgraduate study at Essex. The scholarships will be awarded on the basis of academic merit to students who would not otherwise be able to take up a place at Essex.

 

External Funding Sources for International Students

  • Chevening Scholarships

    • Chevening Scholarships are given to students from a wide variety of countries and can cover all or part of the cost of postgraduate study in the UK.
  • Commonwealth Scholarships

  • Africa Educational Trust Scholarships

    • The Africa Educational Trust provides support for students from Africa to study at colleges and universities in Europe.
  • South African Scholarships

    • Canon Collins Trust provides scholarships to students from South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Swaziland, Lesotho, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi, Angola and Mozambique who wish to pursue a postgraduate degree (mainly Master's degrees of one or two years) in either the United Kingdom or South Africa.
