It has just been announced that Prof M Cetin Arikan and Assoc Prof Ayse Erol, the Turkey representatives in the management committee of our Action MP0805, have been awarded 2.3 million Euros by the state planning department of Turkey to set up a state-of-the-art nano fabrication facility at the Department of Physics in Istanbul University.  Professors Arikan and Erol will make the new facility available to the action members for collaborative projects in III-V-N materials and devices, STSMs and training purposes as soon as it becomes operational.
