Entrepreneurship in the 21st Century
The 12th IEF conference on the theme of 'Social
Sustainability and Economic Security: The Agenda for
Entrepreneurship in the 21st Century' will be held in
Vilnius, Lithuania on 4-6 September 2013. This
conference is being organised by the International
Centre for Entrepreneurship Research (ICER), Essex
Business School, University of Essex in partnership with
The General Jonas Zemaitis Military Academy of
Lithuania, and with the OECD Centre for Entrepreneurship
and the Local Employment and Economic Development at
Paris, France.

News updates
Chairs of panel sessions and panellists at the conference
Rapid developments of the conference are taking place and we are pleased
to announce that Professor Bibek Banerjee from India will chair a new panel
session "Emerging Economy Perspectives" and Professor Christian Friedrich
from South Africa will lead the panel "Education and Training for Social
Sustainability and Economic Security: An Entrepreneurial Perspective"
Also, we welcome new panellists to the conference, including Professor
Manuela Tvaronaviciene, Professor Renata Korsakiene, Vygantas Rašys, Dr
Giedrė Raišien, Dr Mantas Bileišis, Professor Rasa Smaliukiene, Dr Murtala
Sagagi, Professor YK Bhushan, Professor Gunnar Prause, Candace Johnson and
Alex Gibb.

Visa issues
Some of you m ay need visa letters. Please note that we can arrange for
visa letters to be sent to you only when we know that you have
registered and paid the conference fees.
Publications
Selected papers will be considered for special issues of selected journals.
Full details are available in the 12IEF call. All accepted papers will be
available in the IEF Conference CD ROMs which will have an assigned ISSN number
(2070-6944).
