Key Skills and their acceptability at the University of Essex
Applicants who achieve level three in the one unit key skill
awards of Communication, ICT and Numeracy can also gain an additional 20
points for each subject.
However...
- Applicants who have level three Communication, and have studied
A-level English Language, will not be able to count both their
qualifications.
- Applicants who have level three Numeracy/Application of Number, and
have studied A-level Mathematics, will not be able to count both
their qualifications.
- Applicants who have level three ICT, and have studied A-level
Computing or ICT will not be able to count both
qualifications.
Note that level two Key Skills will not attract any
additional points for tariff offers to the University of Essex.
