Resources - Student SupportThe Centre has a system for offering support to students. You may go to any member of staff to discuss problems that affect your academic performance. The Director of Latin American Studies, Gladis Garcia-Soza can assist you if you have any problems. Academic Advisers will offer:
In case of academic problems academic advisers will (if you request it) accompany you at Progress meetings and interviews with the Dean of the School, but not at Disciplinary proceedings. Staff are encouraged to refer students whose difficulties are clearly not of an academic nature and who would be better served by the University’s specialist advisers or counsellors, to those services.
