Our undergraduate degree courses offer students maximum flexibility.

During a four-year degree students can expect to : 

  • develop their potential to the full in at least three different academic disciplines;
  • to have learned to work separately and in groups; 
  • to have research experience and to have skills in amassing, analysing and ordering information;
  • to have acquired essential critical abilities, as well as eloquence in oral and written expression in one or more foreign languages; 
  • to have acquired a wide-ranging knowledge of all aspects of European life and culture including detailed acquaintance with the country where they have spent a full academic year.

You can: choose either French, Portuguese, German, Italian or Spanish as your main language.

In the case of the latter three degree schemes listed, you can start these languages from scratch and through intensive learning reach an Advanced level in one year.

You can take French, Italian, German, Spanish, Russian or Portuguese as your second language option - where two languages are possible.
