Interdisciplinary Studies at Essex

If you are unsure which subject you want to study at University, and are imaginative and don’t like to be tied down to any one form of knowledge, Interdisciplinary Studies at Essex gives you the chance to study combined degrees that ask lots of questions and help you find your own answers. We believe that today’s problems need graduates who have faced the exciting challenge of learning in different ways and spent time studying abroad.

We offer undergraduate degrees in American Studies, European Studies, Liberal Arts, and Latin American Studies, as well as running the core Enlightenment module.
