Information on

Destinations of UK Area Studies
First Degree Graduates 2007 - 08

Every year our graduating students (from the UK and the EU) are surveyed six months after they leave as part of the national survey ‘Destinations of Leavers from Higher Education’. These data are used to give a snapshot of what they are doing, whether work, looking for work, further study or maybe taking time out to travel. Remember, when looking at this information, that it is collected very soon after qualification and may not reflect the eventual choice of career of the graduate.

Degrees covered: European Studies and Modern Languages; European Studies with Economics; European Studies with German; European Studies with Law; European Studies with Politics; European Culture and Society; Latin American Studies; Latin American Studies with Human Rights; Latin American Studies with Business Management; American Studies; American Studies with Film; Criminology and American Studies.

Number of Home & EU graduates responding to the survey: 24 (59% of Area Studies graduates surveyed)
