Graduation: What Next?
On 10 and 11 June 2013, we are running a two-day intensive course for students graduating
in Summer 2013. Job-hunting workshops and presentations will be delivered by careers staff, major employers and Essex alumni.
Our Employability and Careers Centre (E&CC) helps you make the most of your Essex experience.
You don't need to have your future all planned out before you see us. We offer friendly, professional support and one-to-one
advice to current students and recent graduates. We aim to increase your employability by directing you to exciting opportunities
to develop your skills, improve your CV and gain valuable experience.
Gain skills and experience
- Apply for one our many Frontrunner paid placements
- Complete a graduate-level internship during term-time or vacations
- Go abroad, to study or work, as part of your course
- Join Essex Boot Camp, our annual enterprise team competition

frontrunners placements
frontrunners is our original placement scheme that offers students paid work opportunities on campus. From 28 May to 18 June we will be advertising more than 100 placements for the 2013-14
academic year.
Employability events
Our programme of events is designed to help you with all aspects of looking and applying for jobs,
work experience and further study. New events and sessions are added throughout the year, so keep checking what's on offer.
