Jenny Young joins the Research & Enterprise Office at the University of Essex in the new post of Knowledge Transfer Partnerships Manager. Her role is to promote the Government-sponsored KTP programme internally and externally and support and manage the initiation and implementation of KTP projects between the University and external organizations. Prior to joining REO, Jenny spent 5 years with London Metropolitan University’s innovation and enterprise team, working with academics to promote and develop knowledge and technology transfer opportunities. She also spent a number of years with Business Link for London, providing business advice and support to manufacturing companies and so is able to understand many of the business challenges and opportunities faced by business owners in the UK today.
