Sports Science at Essex
Welcome to the Centre for Sports and Exercise Science at the University of
Essex. We have been established since 1995 and have a proven track record
of excellence in teaching, research and applied sports science.
The
Guardian league tables have consistently ranked us as one of the top 5
sports science universities and in our last
Quality Assurance Assessment we scored 24/24. We are also proud to have come
6th in the latest
National Student Satisfaction Survey showing that our students really value
the experience of studying sports science here.
We have five laboratories furnished with the latest sports science equipment
and a team of experienced and highly dedicated academic and support
staff. Our
research, teaching and applied sports science activities are all closely linked
enabling us to maintain very highest standards and remain one of the top UK
sports science universities.
