Postgraduate research within the School of Biological Sciences covers a broad range of biological subjects including environmental microbiology, plant productivity and photosynthesis, biophysics, biochemistry, bio-organic chemistry, sports science and cell/molecular biology and there are 13 research degree titles to choose from. Our unique broad-based structure allows us to exploit the opportunity for collaboration between different areas of the biological sciences. Research is supported by modern, well-equipped research facilities.
