T0-T1000

T0101: Setting the device number

National Instruments cards have a device number that is greater than zero. Use the National Instruments Measurement and Automation program to find the device number.

T0102: DAC channel selection

With National Instruments cards, DAC channel numbers start at zero. Different DAC have different numbers of channels.

T0102: Setting DAC signal ranges

The range of possible values is DAC-dependent

T0110: DAC channel input options

The options are:

  • 0 = differential mode, which uses 2 lines (e.g. 0 and 8, 1 and 9)
  • 1 = signal and AI ground
  • 2 = signal and AI sense

T0120: DIO line selection

With National Instruments cards, DIO line numbers are normally in groups of 8 and are numbered from 0 to 7.

T0130: CT (counter-timer) selection

The two National Instrument cards currently used to provide counter-timers are the PCI 6601 (4 CT lines numbered 0 - 3) and the 6602 (8 CT lines numbered 0 - 7).
