A file needs to be connected for this operation 0-1000Error 0010: Wrong file versionAn attempt was made to open a data file with an old (incompatible) version of the program. Error 0010: Wrong .set file versionAn attempt was made to open a *.set (main settings) file with an old (incompatible) version of the program. Error 0016: File path for backup is invalidAn attempt was made to save a backup file to an invalid file path (normally a Windows-generated error). Error 0017: Requested file could not be loadedNormally indicates a Windows-generated error when attempting to load a previously saved settings file. If this occurs, the default settings file will be loaded instead. Error 0050: No space for more imagesNo more images can be added to the current file. Error 0101: Out of range device number for National Instruments cardNational Instruments cards have a device number that is greater than zero. The current value for the card that is being accessed is zero or less. This error usually means that this is the first time the program has been run and the device number has not yet been set. Use the National Instruments Measurement and Automation program to find the device number and enter this in the appropriate dialog (application dependent). This will normally be accessed through an 'Interface' option under the 'Settings' menu. 1001-2000Error 1001: Wrong file version (xx). This version of the file can't be opened by this version of the program. Usually, this will mean that the file was constructed using a more recent version of the software than is currently being used to open it with. Error 1100: Time units do not compute. The axis limits that have been entered by the user cannot be applied for some reason. Error 1110: There must be at least two traces to use this function. There was an attempt to apply a math / arithmetic function that requires two traces. Error 1111: x-axes are not identical. There was an attempt to apply a math / arithmetic function to two or more traces that do not have identical x-axis values. Error 1112: No trace available for writing to.There was no empty trace available for writing data to. Error 1113: A file needs to be connected for this operation. Some operations require a file to save data to (a pair of images after application of a saturating pulse, for example). 2001-30003001-40004001-50005001-6000Error 5001: No USB-based spectrometers were detected. No spectrometers were found attached to the USB port of this computer. If a spectrometer is physically attached to the computer, but is not found, try:
Error 5002A/B: HR2000/USB2000 found, but not initialised. An Ocean Optics HR2000 or USB2000 spectrometer was found attached to the computer, but the program was not able to initialise it. Check that no other program is accessing the spectrometer and restart the program. Error 5003: Failed to update integration time. The program was unable to change the integration time for an Ocean Optics spectrometer. If the spectrometer is working normally (apart from this specific error), try re-starting the program. Error 5004: A valid dark scan and blank are required before data can be recorded.Only absorbance values are saved. To generate these data, a valid dark scan and blank are required. Error 5005: No spectrometers detected. No spectrometers were found attached to the computer through a USB port. See Error 5001. Error 5006: No LIBS 2000+ spectrometer units were found.6001-7000Error 6001: Signal input selected, but with invalid hardware settings. One or more signal lines have been selected through the Signal settings dialog. However, one or more of these lines has an invalid setting for the device (Dev:) or channel (Ch:) set within the Signals interface setup dialog. Invalid settings are any value less than zero. This will usually be the default value of -1, which is used to indicate that there is no device present. Either de-select the lines through the former or update the settings in the latter. Error 6002: Failed to configure signal input.Legal values for the device (Dev:) and channel (Ch:) have been set (see Error 6001), but the program was unable to configure the channel. This could be a hardware problem or that the device or channel line is incorrect. Use the National Instruments Measurement and Automation program to check that these values match. 7001-8000Error 7001: Unknown camera type.Either no camera was found (when one was expected) or the camera descriptor passed to this point in the program is not registered. Error 7010: Failed to write setting to camera register. An example would be when changing the exposure time. A 'one off' message is probably not a problem. If a string of these errors is generated, there is. Re-starting the program or re-booting the computer may fix this problem. Error 7002: Camera failed to connect. The program failed to establish a connection with the camera. If this error persists after a re-start, check the camera connections. If an 'AVT Error 1021' is presented, changing the Firewire port that the camera is plugged into is likely to fix the problem. Error 7101: Image grab failed. The camera failed to grab an image. Ignore this error message if it is presented when the camera is first connected. If this error persists during normal operation, check the camera-trigger connection. AVT Dolphin F145b specific: There could be a problem with initialisation of the camera. To test this, close KSImP and run the AVT FireView program, which should be accessible through: 'Start / All programs / Allied Vision Technologies / FirePackage 2V1 / FireView' There should be one option for selecting a 'Card:'. When this is selected, the 'Nodes:' section should show an 'AVT Dolphin F145b' camera as the sole option. Select this and press 'Connect'. Then close the program, re-start KSImP and try connecting the camera. |
