Note that there has been a recent change in bus service numbers and timetables - the most important services a 61, 62 which run from Wivenhoe (via the University) to Colchester town centre and Colchester North Railway Station. Rail engineering works on Sunday 2nd September between London (Liverpool Street) and Colchester North Stations: For those travelling from London by train on the Sunday please note that there will be a replacement bus instead of a train from London Liverpool Street station. I'm afraid that this will extend your travelling time. The information should be provided on the National Rail web site: http://ojp1.nationalrail.co.uk/en/pj/jd2. The rail service will resume as normal during the week. Further travel details have been provided, e.g. a link to a map of London Underground, and there is more information about accommodation (see 'Travel and Venue'). Also, please read 'University Arrival' for details of what to do when you get to the University. The campus map has been updated (7 Aug 2007). Internet access: There are several PC labs on campus which can be used by congress participants after you have obtained a password from Conference Reception. For those with laptops, internet access is also available using the telephone line in your room. You will need to purchase a ‘Dog’n’Bone’ phone card from either the Post Office or Conference Reception on campus and retrieve a set of ‘Modem Connection’ instructions from Conference Reception. All dial up connections will be chargeable. More information about a Dog n Bone account.
