bursaries are available to support talented students, ensuring we remain
accessible to all with the potential to succeed, regardless of your financial circumstances.
Our Cardiac Rehabilitation Bursary is a competitive bursary of £1,500 awarded by the School, part of which pays for training as a qualified phase four cardiac rehabilitation instructor, including
travel and subsistence for the course. The rest is offset against your course fees.
Requirements and conditions
Applications are open to Home and EU students, who intend to study for one year full time on the
MSc Cardiac Rehabilitation course.
In return for the bursary, you will be required to work at The Phoenix Club, our on-campus cardiac rehabilitation centre. You will be responsible for planning and implementing
exercise classes and some administrative tasks associated with running these programmes. You must also be available to undertake a five-day residential training course before
the start of the autumn term.
Full training will be given and you can use your work experience to complete a work-based learning module or it can count towards other continuing professional development (CPD) activities.
