The Association of University Administrators (AUA) was founded in 1961 and is a dedicated association for individuals working in administration and management within the
higher education sector. Further details are available on the AUA’s website. The central office is based in Manchester and there are eight geographic
networks across the country.
Essex falls within the Anglia and London geographic network. AUA Essex is the University of Essex’s own AUA branch and is run by a
committee made up of University of Essex professional staff.
