QAA Review

QAA logo

The QAA undertook a review of the University in December 2014. The review found that we meet all expectations required of higher education providers, and commended our focus on improving the student learning experience. An action plan (.pdf) has been produced in response to the review.

The Academic Standards and Partnerships Office (ASPO) is responsible for the management, support and development of academic standards and quality procedures across our University and our partner institutions.

We provide professional advice and information to University colleagues, external bodies and partner organisations in relation to quality assurance and enhancement matters. We also support our University's commitment to the continuous enhancement of the quality of the student learning experience. We manage partnership development and the quality assurance and enhancement of academic partnerships that involve students studying for an Essex award.
