BA Philosophy and Art History
Our BA Philosophy and Art History is a unique joint-honours degree combining the historical study of art with a deep and focused investigation of its theoretical
and philosophical underpinnings. You engage with the work of a wide variety of artists and writers to explore the fundamental questions raised by both art history and
philosophy, and their interrelationships. Our flexible course structure gives you a strong grounding in both subjects while allowing you to specialise according to the
interests you develop. Work placement opportunities and the chance to study abroad are included.
