Curatorial Studies
Our Centre for Curatorial Studies is a research and teaching unit based in our School that focuses on contemporary curatorial theory and practice and contemporary museology.
Over the past decade we have been home to five major research projects funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC):
Other research projects
Other projects have included a recent collaboration with Colchester Hospital Trust, funded by the AHRC, to catalogue the art
collection of Colchester’s hospitals, as well as Latin American Art in the UK, a one-year project examining the history of reception of art from Latin America in Britain during the
post-war period, also funded by the AHRC.
