MA Courses
The MA in Art History and Theory consists of two ten-week core modules called Researching Art History I and II,
each of which is assessed by two short assignments, plus three modules from the
list below each of which are taught as a two-hour seminar series lasting ten
weeks. Assessment for these modules is normally by three essays (one for
each module taken), which are completed in the first half of the year, and a
dissertation, which is completed in the second half.
Details of all our MA courses are given below, together with a list of
available modules. Students can also choose to take optional modules offered by
other departments including language modules.
