Colchester campus:
Reporting Faults or Required Repairs

Reporting of non urgent repairs should be made by email using the following email addresses. Urgent repairs can be telephoned on the numbers shown.

South Campus:

Emergencies out of hours should be reported to the Information Centre on (87)2125. Where appropriate a duty engineer will be called to rectify the problem.

The majority of repairs are carried out by university staff from the Estates department so you do not need to be present if the maintenance staff require access to your room. For non urgent repairs the maintenance staff do not normally access the residences until after 9am.
