Facilities in the Residences

In the kitchen you will need to bring your own cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery, saucepans and frying pans. In the room you will need to bring all your own towels and bedding. You can, if you wish,  pre-order all the essential items that you will need in your study-room before you even leave home.  everythingEssex is a company that provides a variety of packs of indispensable items to ensure you quickly settle in your university accommodation; alternatively you can create your own individually tailored pack.
See also our page about facilities in the residences.

Insurance

The University has arranged a block halls policy for all students in university owned accommodation to insure their personal effects. There is no additional charge for the standard insurance cover provided. However if you need to increase your level of cover or purchase additional cover for specific items not included in the standard policy this can be done through Endsleigh Insurance services directly.

Further details including a summary of the standard cover provided by the block halls policy can be found on the insurance pages of the website.
