Southend Campus
Arrival Dates for New Students 2012/2013

The earliest date that you are able to move into your accommodation is the date specified in your Letter of Allocation.  If you have a course start date earlier than 1 October 2012 your allocation letter will indicate the date at which you are able to move into accommodation. We regret that it is not possible to move in prior to this date.  

Your room will be held until midday on Tuesday 2 October 2012. If you have not advised us that you will arrive after that date, the room will be offered to another student.

Students studying on courses with start dates before Monday 1 October 2012 will be expected to move into University Square before Sunday 30 September as detailed below. You will also receive a letter of allocation from this date.

Combination  Microwave / convection oven, Food cupboards, Fridge with freezer compartment, 2 ring hob, Iron, Ironing Board, Kettle, Mop and Bucket 

We do NOT provide:

Crockery, cutlery, Saucepans and frying pan, kitchen utensils and toasters  
No bedding or linen is provided
TVs are not provided and if students bring their own they will require their own TV license

Key Issue  

You will be able to collect your keys directly from reception at University Square which is located inside the main entrance on Queens Road. The Reception desk is staffed by Accommodation Advisors Monday to Thursday from 09.00 to 17.00 and 09.00 to 16.45 on Fridays. Additionally reception will be open during the following period for intake day key collections:
