Accommodation for Families
The Towers
There are 4 self catering flats on campus suitable for a family with one
child:
- Self contained
- Launderette on campus
- Internet connection in each flat
- Phone connection in each flat
- Utility bills with the exception of telephone are included in the accommodation charge
The Towers are situated in the middle
of the campus and there is a one bedroom family flat on the ground floor of four
of the Towers. Each family flat is fully furnished and consists of a sitting
room - kitchen, one bedroom and a bathroom. Each flat has a door entry phone.
Cooking utensils, oven and hob, microwave, kettle, iron, vacuum cleaner and ironing board
are provided but residents will need to provide their own bedding, towels,
cutlery and crockery.
The accommodation charge for 2012– 2013 is £22.43
per night, £157.01 per week.
236 & 238 St Andrews Avenue
There are two semi-detached houses suitable for
families with one young child:

& 238 St Andrews Avenue are semi detached houses owned by the University,
situated a 15 minute walk from the campus and very close to a large supermarket.
The houses are fully furnished and consist of a living/dining room, kitchen, two
bedrooms and a bathroom. Cooking utensils, oven and hob, microwave, kettle,
iron, vacuum cleaner, washer dryer and ironing board are provided but residents
will need to provide their own bedding, towels, cutlery and crockery.
Please note: Although this accommodation has two bedrooms it is only suitable for
families with ONE CHILD under the age of 10 years.
The University does not have any accommodation available for families
with more than one child or a child over the age of 10 years and in these cases
it is advised that you seek accommodation in the private sector; the link below

The accommodation charge
for 2012 – 2013 is £24.00 per night, £168.00 per week.
