New students
Most students can apply for accommodation using our online application
process. This is normally available through the myEssex Applicant Portal. All
deadline dates for applications will be published on these pages.
Terms and conditions
If you are allocated accommodation you will enter into a legal contract with
Accommodation Essex and you will be liable to pay the rent for your room for the
period stated on your offer letter.
Please read our terms carefully before accepting any offer of
accommodation:
Contact our Customer Services Team
if you have any queries relating to accommodation applications.
How to apply
Your first year of study

Students applying after this date will not be guaranteed accommodation.
The guarantee does not apply to students resident within the
respective boroughs of Colchester and Southend. If you live within these
boroughs you are welcome to apply but will be given lower priority.
