NEW Accommodation office Christmas closures

All of the accommodation offices will be closed between Monday 24^th December and Tuesday 1^st January.

University Quays in Colchester and University Square in Southend have a 24 hour security presence during this time should you have any urgent issues with your accommodation.
If you live on the north or south campus in Colchester, the information desk on Square 3 is open 24 hours a day during this period, and patrol staff will be able to assist with any urgent issues.

NEW Accommodation for returning students

Returning Southend students can now book accommodation for next year, at this year's prices. Students who book on this price freeze deal will also have a 1 in 10 chance of winning £500 of Amazon vouchers.

Final year EU/UK Colchester students can also apply for accommodation for next year. We have a limited number of rooms available, and we're giving these students the opportunity to apply to live with friends.

Shortest ever Undergraduate waiting list

Are you an Undergraduate student still needing accommodation?

We now have the shortest waiting list ever. This means that the chances of getting University accommodation in the autumn term are very good. To apply go to the waiting list, and complete the application form.

Postgraduate accommodation and waiting list

All our Postgraduate accommodation is now full, however we may be able to offer you Undergraduate accommodation.

If you are applying through the waiting list and would like to include Undergraduate accommodation in your preferences, please remember to tick the box to select Undergraduate accommodation.

If you have already applied through the waiting list and would like to change your preference to include Undergraduate accommodation, please email the accommodation office to update your application.

If you have already applied, and do not want to accept Undergraduate accommodation, we will simply retain your application as it is on the waiting list.

National Student Housing Survey

Quality Mark Following the National Student Housing Survey (NSHS) 2012, Accommodation Essex is one of only five organisations to have achieved the International Accommodation Quality Mark. Licensed by the NSHS the mark recognises organisations which have achieved at least 90% satisfaction among international students.

UUK Student Accommodation Code
