The Academic Section, headed by the Academic Registrar, provides a wide range
of services to students and departments to support the academic provision of the University.
The main offices of the Academic Section are the Registry, Essex Abroad, Student Support Office, Academic Standards and Partnerships, Employability and
Careers, and the Systems Administration Office, which incorporates the Examinations Office,
Student Appeals, Complaints and Conduct Office and the Central Timetable Office.
