University accommodation:
The Southend Campus has the University Square, the new student accommodation which is due for completion in September 2010. The development of the 561-room University Square includes many green and sustainable features. The flats have ‘cluster’ kitchens which have a modern/contemporary feel and, along with the study rooms, will offer high-quality accommodation for students in October. Current Southend Campus students and prospective students will be able to tour the accommodation from March 2010. Further information is also available on the University accommodation website.

Southend-on-Sea, as a vibrant seaside town, welcomes six million visitors
each year. The town provides a wide variety of places to stay, as do the
surrounding areas of Westcliff, Thorpe Bay and Leigh-on-Sea. From guest
houses along the seafront to chain hotels near to town, visitors will have
