Staff and Students Responsibilities

1. Co-operate with the fire safety arrangements.
2. Establish the escape routes from areas you normally use.
3. Evacuate immediately if the fire alarm actuates, closing doors behind you.
4. Report any fire safety issues to a manager and the University Fire Officer.
5. Do not leave anything obstructing escape routes.
6. Contact the Safety Office if you have a problem managing stairs, even if temporary.
